	Extract from the 1st BlitzDefence programme "Orthodox stance - the attacker has his left hand forward" Danilo advances towards Perry in a threatening manner. Perry raises his arms towards Danilo as a disguised gesture and talks to calm him down. Danilo raises his fists to attack, but Perry preempts the attack by grabbing Danilo's left arm and simultaneously punching to the head. Perry also controls Danilo's left leg with his front leg. 	Extract from the 2nd BlitzDefence programme "Southpaw stance - the attacker has his right hand forward" Danilo advances towards Perry in a threatening manner with his right arm in front. Perry preempts the attack by controlling Danilo's right arm and simultaneously punching to the liver. As he goes forward Perry controls Danilo's right leg with his front leg. 	Extract from the 3rd BlitzDefence programme "Both arms open" With both arms open Danilo confronts and threatens Perry, who is retreating slightly to defuse the situation. Before Danilo can launch a punch, Perry checks Danilo's left arm with his own left arm, moves to Danilo's left side and lands a right-hand punch on Danilo's head. As he goes forward Perry controls Danilo's left leg with his own left leg. 	Extract from the 4th BlitzDefence programme "Attacker punches first" This time Danilo is the first to punch, using his right hand. Perry grabs Danilo's left arm and simultaneously delivers a right-hand punch to the head. Perry then follows up with a left-hand punch to Danilo's head and a blow to the kidney. 	Extract from the 5th BlitzDefence programme "Elbow strike to the head" Danilo attacks Perry with an elbow strike to the head. Perry controls Danilo's elbow and takes a step to Danilo's right, at the same time countering with an elbow strike to the liver. 	Extract from the 6th BlitzDefence programme "Arm-grab" Danilo grabs Perry's left arm with both hands. Perry strikes Danilo's arms with his right arm, releasing his left arm from Danilo's grip at the same time, then delivers a punch to the head. 	Extract from the 7th BlitzDefence programme "Strangle/grappling hold" Danilo attempts to grab Perry around the neck with both hands. Perry counters by raising both arms. Realising that his attack has failed, Danilo quickly lowers his hands to encircle Perry's hips and bring him to the ground. However Perry "sticks" to Danilo's arms, controls Danilo's right arm with his left arm and delivers a strike to Danilo's neck with his right forearm. 	Extract from the 8th BlitzDefence programme "Defence on the ground" Perry is pushed by Danilo and falls to the ground. Danilo intends to launch himself at Perry, but Perry delivers rapid kicks to Danilo's shins, then brings him to the ground with leg-scissors. 	Extract from the 9th BlitzDefence programme "Defence against a stick" Danilo delivers an outside blow to Perry's head with a stick. Perry moves into the gap on Danilo's left side, grabs Danilo's striking arm at the wrist and extends his left arm, at the same time striking Danilo's head with his right. Perry grabs the stick with his left hand and disarms Danilo with a right-hand blow to Danilo's striking arm. 	Extract from the 10th BlitzDefence programme "Defence against several attackers" Perry is attacked by three assailants. He first moves towards the attacker on the left, making sure that the other two attackers have their way blocked by the first attacker. This enables Perry to deal with this attacker first, then each of the others in turn. 	Extract from the 12th BlitzDefence programme "Using only one arm for defence" Perry and Danilo demonstrate an exercise for defending with one arm (in case one arm is e.g. tied up). Perry demonstrates several variations against different attacks, showing that this exercise should first be done slowly, then speeded up when the various defences can be carried out smoothly.
